{"id":2367,"date":"2024-03-25T12:08:42","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T12:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstriumphs.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/25\/byron-king-mining-stocks-on-absolute-fire-sale-where-to-focus-now\/"},"modified":"2024-03-25T12:08:42","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T12:08:42","slug":"byron-king-mining-stocks-on-absolute-fire-sale-where-to-focus-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstriumphs.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/25\/byron-king-mining-stocks-on-absolute-fire-sale-where-to-focus-now\/","title":{"rendered":"Byron King: Mining Stocks on \u201cAbsolute Fire Sale,\u201d Where to Focus Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Speaking at the Prospectors &amp; Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention, Byron King of Paradigm Press  shared his thoughts on opportunities in the energy sector, as well as gold and gold stocks. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He currently sees major upside in the mining sector as a whole, saying companies are \u2018just on absolute fire sale.\u2019<\/p>\n<p> \u2018These are the kinds of things that if you get into the right plays at the right points in the next year or so, the next few months \u2014 these are things that could set you up for the rest of your life,\u2019 he commented at the event.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of what could trigger renewed interest in the space, King said that sooner or later investors will realize that popular technologies like artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies require vast amounts of energy.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I think that as the momentum of technology, of crypto, etc. \u2014 as that keeps going, keeps accelerating into wherever it goes \u2014 it has to pull the basic materials, the metals with it,\u2019 he explained. \u2018And if just some of that froth on the beer over on the technology side drips back onto the table for the drillers and the diggers, we\u2019re in for some good times.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>King is positive on uranium in particular, and he also discussed gold\u2019s price potential in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It would not surprise me at all to see gold at US$2,500 (per ounce) by the end of the year,\u2019 he said. \u2018If you don\u2019t have some gold now, some silver now \u2014 get some, okay?
