(TSXV: WHY,OTC:WHYRF) (FSE: W0H)\u00a0(the \u2018Company\u2019 or \u2018West High Yield\u2019) is very pleased to announce that the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office (the \u2018EAO \u2018) has issued its Final Designation Decision confirming that the Company\u2019s Record Ridge Industrial Minerals Project (the \u2018Project\u2019), near Rossland, British Columbia, will not be designated as a reviewable project under Section 11 of the Environmental Assessment Act (2018) (British Columbia) (the \u2018Act\u2019).<\/p>\n<p>The EAO reviewed applications submitted under Section 11 of the Act and concluded that the Project\u2019s potential effects are being appropriately addressed through existing regulatory processes, including the Mines Act (British Columbia) and the Environmental Management Act (British Columbia). The EAO\u2019s Final Designation Report and Reasons for Decision are publicly available on the EAO\u2019s Project Information Centre: EAO EPIC \u2013 Record Ridge Project Documents.<\/p>\n<p>This Final Designation Decision follows the EAO\u2019s earlier draft designation report, which reached the same conclusion.
